Gutierrez confirms talks with Manor and Sauber
After being dropped by Haas for Kevin Magnussen in 2017, Esteban Gutierrez revealed he has already began talks with Sauber and Manor for a drive next year. With the vacant seats at Renault and Force India already taken, the Mexican's options have now narrowed down to just Manor and Sauber, admitting that the American team’s decision to delay their line-up for next season hurt his chances of securing a seat. When quizzed why he and Sauber boss Monisha Kaltenborn were seen chatting on Sunday morning, the 25-year-old confirmed it was about his future in the sport.
