Wolff hits out at 'paranoia' over phone call
– Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has brushed off criticism from Red Bull chiefs Helmut Marko and Christian Horner over his decision to telephone Max Verstappen's father, Jos, prior to the Brazilian Grand Prix.Marko accused Wolff of "interfering" after he reportedly asked Verstappen to advise his son, of Red Bull, not to get caught up in the title fight between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.Wolff, offering a full response, has admitted that he did discuss Verstappen's approach to racing, but also made it clear he simply wants to avoid a controversial end to the season."I have a very good relationship with Jos, and I am a silent fan of Max, because I think Max is very good...
