Ericsson ‘curious' ahead of first Halo run

Marcus Ericsson will add his name to the growing list of drivers trialing Halo when he takes to the Interlagos circuit on Friday morning. Throughout this year's championship drivers have run the cockpit protection device in first practice as the FIA collect feedback ahead of its potential debut in 2018. Ericsson will join Haas in testing Halo this weekend in Brazil. 'I will have the chance to test the Holo system for the first time on Friday in FP1,' he said. 'I am curious to see how driving feels with it.' However, the race weekend will also mark Sauber's second last opportunity to score points.
