Ocon relieved to finish with damaged car
– Manor driver Esteban Ocon explained that he was pleased to reach the finish of the United States Grand Prix after picking up damage on his MRT05 during the race.Ocon started on the Medium compound tyre, a choice he felt did not aid his cause, before completing further stints on new Softs, used Softs and new Super Softs.Ocon finished in 18th position, as the final classified runner, but was pleased to reach the chequered flag after a difficult race."It was a great start, I gained six places I think," said Ocon."Obviously, I dropped back gradually through the lap and then the tyres were sliding around quite a bit."I don't think it was such a good idea to start on...
