Hamilton: I was just in fear of the same thing
Lewis Hamilton finally scored his 50th Formula 1 win as he powered to a well controlled and comfortable victory at the United States Grand Prix and with it did what he had to do to make inroads into Nico Rosberg's championship points lead. From pole position Hamilton scorched off the line and thereafter simply drove into the distance, before controlling the gap to his rivals, to claim his fifth grand prix victory on American soil. These are his thoughts on the race at Circuit of the Americas. We’ve got to talk about this milestone: fifty Grand Prix victories. Only two men have ever done it before: Alain Prost and Michael Schumacher. You must be so proud.
