Magnussen and Massa handed reprimands

Kevin Magnussen and Felipe Massa have been handed reprimands for their incidents during qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix. The Renault and Williams drivers were summoned to see the stewards after they exceeded the maximum time allowed between safety car lines on their in-laps at the end of Q1 and Q2. "As no driver was impeded, the Stewards consider a reprimand to be sufficient in this case," the stewards said. Massa will start the race from 12th position, with Magnussen down in 18th.
