Horner: This result 'beyond our wildest expectations'

Malaysian Grand Prix – Red Bull Racing Team Principal Christian Horner says that his drivers were free to race to the flag in the closing stages at Sepang, after the late retirement of race leader Lewis Hamilton. Red Bull drivers Daniel Ricciardo & Max Verstappen were running a comfortable P2 & P3 on Lap 41, racing amongst themselves as Max Verstappen sought to make use of his alternative tyre strategy and get past Ricciardo to apply pressure to Hamilton. However, an engine failure for Lewis Hamilton resulted in the deployment of the Virtual Safety Car, and both RBR drivers pitting again for fresh tyres.
