Palmer delights in 'overdue' first point

– Renault Jolyon Palmer hailed his "overdue" maiden point in Formula 1 as he finished in 10th position at the Malaysian Grand Prix.Palmer came close to a top 10 finish on his debut in Australia but narrowly missed out in 11th spot, which proved the high point for several months, amid a difficult campaign.Palmer, who squandered 10th place in Hungary by spinning, started from 19th at Sepang but ran a Hard/Soft strategy to make progress, beating Carlos Sainz Jr. to 10th position."I'm really happy, especially after yesterday," he explained after the race."I was feeling strong all weekend, I'm happy with how I've been driving recently but I messed it up a bit...
