Ricciardo relieved after 2016 near-misses

– Daniel Ricciardo feels his victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix was payback having missed out on a couple of opportunities earlier in the season.Ricciardo headed a Red Bull 1-2 during a dramatic race at Sepang, fending off team-mate Max Verstappen before profiting when Lewis Hamilton suffered an engine failure.Ricciardo led in Spain, before a strategic decision backfired, and was on course to triumph in Monaco prior to a botched pit stop, and also finished a close second in Singapore."It was a race of challenges, obviously Lewis got the lead and had his problem," he said."So I feel… I'm not really one for believing in a whole lot [of karma] but it went the other way...
