Abu Dhabi GP boss hopes for F1 title finale fight Abu Dhabi's F1 boss is hoping the 2016 world championship goes right down to the wire. Mercedes' Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton are separated by just 8 points with 6 races to go in this year's championship, which will conclude with the spectacular Yas Marina race at the end of November. And the track's chief executive, Al Tareq Al Ameri, said he hopes Abu Dhabi stays on the calendar for a long time. 'Absolutely, we're here for the long term,' he told the Arab news service Al Bawaba.
