Ocon pit-stop an 'unmitigated disaster'
anor Racing Director Dave Ryan labelled Esteban Ocon's first pit-stop at the Singapore Grand Prix as an "unmitigated disaster", after the youngster lost over a minute in the pit lane.Ocon, who had to serve a five-second time penalty after being judged to have passed Felipe Nasr behind the Safety Car, spent 1m44.383s in the pit lane during a botched first stop.That compares to 28.315s, the quickest overall pit lane time of the race, achieved by Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton.Ocon also lost a further 15 seconds during another slow stop later in the race and came home a twice-lapped 18th."We need to look at that to understand exactly what happened," Ryan said, referring to the...
