Magnussen endured Singapore GP with no water bottle

Kevin Magnussen’s tenth place finish in the Singapore Grand Prix last weekend has been made all the more impressive by the fact that he had no water throughout the near two-hour race. The Renault Sport F1 driver scored only his second top ten finish of 2016 when he took tenth place, but revealed that his water bottle did not work throughout the race that was held in hot and humid conditions. Magnussen looked physically exhausted as he exited his RS16 on Sunday, and is the second time in two Grand Prix in Singapore that the Dane has suffered, with Magnussen having been treated for minor burns in 2014 whilst racing for McLaren.
