Singapore should suit Toro Rosso ‘a lot better’ - Kvyat

Daniil Kvyat is confident Toro Rosso will fare “a lot better” at this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix than in the latest rounds of the Formula One championship. The Faenza-based team was a regular Q3 and top-10 contender up until the summer break but it is coming off a trio of scoreless races in Germany, Belgium, and Italy. Kvyat explains that Toro Rosso’s year-old Ferrari engine is starting to show its age, especially at power tracks like Spa and Monza, but the Russian believes the James Key-designed STR11 chassis remains competitive at tight and twisty venues like Marina Bay Circuit. “In theory this track should suit us quite a lot better because every time...
