Perez says leaving Force India "very unlikely"

Sergio Perez says it is 'very unlikely' that he will leave Force India at the end of this season, but insists that nothing has been finalised yet to confirm his future. The Mexican hopes to confirm his 2017 plans prior to the next race in Singapore, with Force India remaining favourite to keep his services. He already has a contract with the Silverstone-based team for next year, although there are separate commercial arrangements with his backers that the outfit are still working on. Should Perez leave then Renault is the most likely destination, although Williams has also expressed interest in him.
