Monza set for new three-year F1 deal
– Monza is set to remain as the host of the Italian Grand Prix until at least 2019, with a three-year deal agreed between the circuit and Formula 1 chiefs.Monza's current contract expires this year and negotiations over its future on the calendar have been protracted, amid political and financial wrangling.Imola, which previously held the San Marino Grand Prix, was touted as a possibility for 2017, though officials at Monza remained adamant that a deal would eventually be struck.On Wednesday, Luca Lotti, Secretary of State to the Prime Minister, posted on social media: "We worked so hard, it's finally official: the Grand Prix stays at Monza.
