Magnussen Eau Rouge shunt stops Belgian GP

UPDATE: Renault confirms Magnussen has suffered a 'small cut to the left ankle and has been escorted to a nearby hospital for further routine checks'. The Belgian Grand Prix has been red flagged on lap nine after a huge shunt for Kevin Magnussen at Eau Rouge. The Dane lost control of his Renault on lap six whilst running ninth and made heavy contact with the barrier. Though he was able to extricate himself from the heavily damaged car, he was limping as he was taken to the medical centre. Transferred to hospital with a reported ankle injury, Renault issued the following update... Update on Kevin: Kevin Magnussen ran wide at the exit of Eau Rouge and made heavy contact with the barriers....
