Ericsson set for 10-place grid penalty

Marcus Ericsson has joined Lewis Hamilton on the list of drivers facing grid penalties in Belgium after Sauber changed his turbocharger. Sauber were hoping for an improved showing, and perhaps even points, at Spa after introducing a raft of updates including a new shorter nose and front wing. However, Ericsson's chances of a top-ten result have been dented by the news that he will drop 10 places on Sunday's grid. The Swede has a new turbocharger for his C35 and, as it is his sixth for the season, that means an automatic 10-place penalty.
