New Ferrari engine ‘on par' with Mercedes
Scuderia Ferrari have made their final alteration to its 2016-spec power unit, and sources suggest the new-specification by Ferrari may be enough to put the Maranello squad 'on par' with current world champions, Mercedes. Ferrari have made huge leaps with their power unit this year, and some components are believed to be ‘better' than that of the Mercedes power unit, however Ferrari have lacked the overall package this year, meaning the team failed not only to challenge Mercedes, but also have fallen behind Red Bull.
