Gasly: Important to be 'honest' over halo

– Pierre Gasly has welcomed the fact that the 'halo' cockpit protection device will not be introduced next season, after providing an "honest" assessment over its practicalities.Gasly was one of only three drivers to trial the halo, along with Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen, while Daniel Ricciardo also tested Red Bull's own 'aeroscreen'.Although he reported that general visibility was "OK" after his brief outing at the Silverstone in-season test, he admitted to a "weird" feeling under the three-pronged device.Formula 1 chiefs took driver comments on board at latest Strategy Group meeting, where it was unanimously decided that increased...
