Red Bull tests 2017 Pirelli slick tyres at Mugello
Red Bull showcased the new 2017 wider Formula 1 slick tyres Pic: Red Bull Racing Twitter Red Bull has experienced Formula 1’s new 2017 specification Pirelli slick tyres for the first time during a test at Italy’s Mugello circuit. Former Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Buemi completed 82 laps of running on the new rubber as he enjoyed a return to F1 machinery for the first time in two years. Buemi conducted runs on a selection of different compounds and structures using a modified 2015 Red Bull RB11. The new wider tyres are set to be introduced next season as part of a raft of regulation changes, including a vastly increased downforce package. Red Bull’s two day test arrived after...
