Rosberg thrilled to bounce back from problem

Mercedes AMG Petronas Nico Rosberg expressed his elation as he recovered from an electronics issue to record pole position at the German Grand Prix. Rosberg had to abort his first effort in Q3 when his Mercedes W07 Hybrid developed a problem, forcing him to return to the pits for the glitch to be resolved. It left Rosberg with just one hot lap in which to record a time and he duly registered pole position, 0.107s faster than team-mate Lewis Hamilton.
