Rosberg fastest in final practice

German Grand Prix – Nico Rosberg was fastest in FP3 to complete the hat-trick of being fastest in all three practice sessions ahead of qualifying. The German completed a time of 1:15.738 with team mate Lewis Hamilton just half a tenth behind, suggesting Rosberg was correct about Hamilton hiding his pace on Friday. The final stages of final practice on Saturday are usually devoted to qualifying simulations, but Mercedes went against this trend as neither driver properly completed a low fuel lap at the end of the session.
