Ericsson: New owners helping development

Sauber F1 Team Marcus Ericsson says Sauber's new owners have allowed the team to increase its development, as it bids to recover from a dismal first half of 2016. Sauber has yet to score a point and props up the Constructors' Championship, with the C35-Ferrari featuring only minor updates since pre-season testing in March. Ericsson is confident that Sauber's acquisition by Longbow Finance will boost the team's prospects when the sport returns from its summer break, after negotiating this weekend's German Grand Prix.
