McLaren able to reach Q3 for Hungarian GP – Alonso McLaren shows a consistent performance in both practice session on Friday for Hungarian Grand Prix, Red Bull and Ferrari in a battle for the second and third rows of the grid, McLaren was the fourth quickest team. Alonso expects to reach Q3 for the Hungarian Grand Prix despite having to take an unscheduled power unit change during Friday practice. “We’ll fight hard to get into Q3 tomorrow, and I think we’ll have a chance to make it, as we’ve done successfully already a few times in the past few races.
