Abiteboul: Results don't do us justice

The eleventh-hour thumbs-up to buy the ailing Lotus team, left Renault with a monumental task, the French manufacturer having almost no time in which to prepare for its first season back in the sport as a constructor. And while, it is the late decision that many cite as the reason for the team's progress, managing director Cyril Abiteboul disagrees, insisting that progress has been made but that the results are not reflecting this.
