Verstappen: Up my game against Ricciardo

Max Verstappen acknowledges that he has had to up his game since joining Red Bull Racing because Daniel Ricciardo is 'very quick.' Verstappen swapped from Toro Rosso to Red Bull ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix and claimed instant success as he won the race ahead of the Ferraris. However, it wasn't until the British GP, his sixth race with Ricciardo as a team-mate, that he finally outqualified the Aussie. In the wake of being told that he must work on his qualifying performances, Verstappen finished P3 on the Saturday to Ricciardo's P4 'You shouldn't forget I'm driving next to someone who's very quick, so it's a different approach for me now,' he told Autosport.
