Kevin Magnussen: “We were just not quick enough”
Kevin Magnussen admitted he was not quick enough during the British Grand Prix on Sunday before retiring in the pits with just a handful of laps remaining as a precaution. The Danish driver followed his Renault Sport F1 team-mate Jolyon Palmer into retirement after a potential gearbox, the same reason why the Briton had retired earlier in the race, but the Dane was at the back of the field at the time with no chance of securing his second points finish of the season.
