Sauber on the verge of fresh investment

Marcus Ericsson says "it seems like the worst part is past us" as Sauber is set to receive fresh investment. Sauber has been struggling financial for a number of years, not helped by the new power unit regulations and failing to score a point in 2014 which left the team bottom of the constructors' championship. However, sources close to the team have indicated new investment could be confirmed as early as the British Grand Prix weekend and Ericsson says it will boost the team' morale. “It’s positive that it seems to be in the right way and for everyone that’s a big relief in a way," Ericsson said.
