Pascal Wehrlein hails ‘incredible feeling' at team after qualifying P12
Austrian Grand Prix – Manor's Pascal Wehrlein was the star of qualifying as he finished P12 after making it into the top ten during Q1. Wehrlein was just a second slower than the factory Mercedes AMG in Q1, ending the session P10. Even though the Toro Rosso of Daniil Kvyat crashed just moments after Wehrlein's best time, protecting him somewhat, he proved his time was no fluke by setting a time good enough for P12 in Q2. The DTM Champion has had plenty of experience at the Red Bull Ring in recent years, and put that knowledge to good use to take Manor's highest qualifying position since the late Jules Bianchi's P15 at the 2014 Hungarian Grand Prix. “It’s an incredible feeling...
