Toro Rosso Confirm Sainz for 2017
Scuderia Toro Rosso have confirmed that Carlos Sainz has agreed a one-year extension to his contract and will continue to drive for the team for the 2017 season. Carlos Sainz will continue to race for the Toro Rosso team in 2017 after Red Bull took the option on his existing contract. The Spanish driver has scored points five times in the first eight races this season, and is comparing favourably to Daniil Kvyat since the Russian's demotion from the senior Red Bull team prior to the Spanish Grand Prix.
