Ricciardo gave Wall of Champions “a pretty big kiss”

Daniel Ricciardo said he instantly thought of Carlos Sainz’s red flag-causing crash in Q2 when he hit Montreal’s famous Wall of Champions in the top-10 qualifying shootout. Ricciardo clipped the barrier with both his front and rear wheels, but his Red Bull escaped unscathed unlike Sainz’s Toro Rosso, which slammed hard into the wall and put him out of qualifying.
