Palmer to receive new chassis for Montreal

Renault have confirmed that Jolyon Palmer will receive a brand new chassis following the Briton's heavy crash early in the Monaco Grand Prix. Following a safety car start, the Monaco Grand Prix commenced at racing speed on the eighth lap. However, just moments after crossing the start/finish line, Palmer crashed when he lost control of his car on the main pit straight. Palmer crashed his car into the barrier on the outside of the pit straight, his car then slid into the barriers at turn one (Ste Devote). 'The car hit the barriers quite hard at an oblique angle which damaged the front of the chassis,' said Renault's technical director Nick Chester. 'Since we have a new chassis available it...
