Points to ponder ahead of the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix

Spanish Grand Prix – Round 5 of the 2016 World Championship sees Formula 1 return to the most used circuit in the sport – the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmelo, just outside Barcelona city. The scene of all of this year's pre-season testing, the drivers and teams are well used to the track but familiarity does not mean the challenge of the weekend is any lesser. The circuit's surface is notoriously abrasive, meaning that Pirelli have brought their three hardest compounds: the Hard, Medium & Soft compound P Zeros.
