Gutierrez urges Haas to ‘experiment more'
Esteban Gutierrez has urged Haas to think outside the box after failing to score points with a 'quite conservative' approach at the Chinese GP. For the first time this season Haas finished a grand prix outside the points as Gutierrez was P14, the first driver a lap down on race winner Nico Rosberg, while Romain Grosjean crossed the line in 19th place. It was a disappointing outcome after the highs of Australia and Bahrain in which the American outfit amassed 18 points to hold down P5 in the championship. Gutierrez has now called on the team to 'experiment more' as they have a good base in the VF-16 on which to build. 'There's still a lot to work on, it's part of that which we are missing...
