The beginning of the end for Vijay Mallya?
Eccentric Indian entrepreneur Vijay Mallya is currently facing an arrest warrant issued by a Mumbai court. 60-year-old Mallya, whose Kingfisher Airlines folded in 2012, is believed to be living in London. India's Enforcement Directorate for financial crimes stated on Monday that the court had granted its request for a warrant to seek Mallya. He is to be questioned over a claim that a 120,000 ($135,000) loan from the IDBI bank was actually invested in properties overseas. Vijay Mallya's UB group, Kingfisher Airline's owners claimed the warrant was 'unjustified,' adding that it would give complete details in the coming days to account for foreign exchange remittances.
