Rain reduces FP3 session, as Vettel tops the times

Sebastian Vettel topped the times in a rain disrupted final practice session at the Shanghai International Circuit on Saturday morning. The German set a time of 1:57.351, to take him seven tenths clear of the Williams of Valtteri Bottas in second, but many drivers, including the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, decided not to take to the track and set a time in the inclement conditions. When the session began the rain was coming down heavily, and for fifteen minutes everybody remained safe and warm inside the pits, until conditions abated and Bottas headed out onto track, followed by team-mate Felipe Massa.
