Alonso back in training before Chinese GP
– McLaren-Honda driver Fernando Alonso has restarted his training programme as he attempts to return to the Formula 1 grid at the Chinese Grand Prix, which takes place next weekend.Alonso was ruled out of the Bahrain Grand Prix after his violent crash in Australia, when he hit the rear of Esteban Gutiérrez's Haas, flipped over multiple times and landed upside down.Alonso, who suffered a pneumothorax and broken ribs in the incident, has said that he is "99 per cent sure" of returning to the wheel at Shanghai, and has now returned to training."Return to the training," Alonso posted via his official Instagram account, having spent the weekend assisting replacement...
