Chinese GP tyre choices revealed, Mercedes differ
Pirelli have revealed the tyre choices made by the teams for the Chinese Grand Prix, which will take place in two weeks' time. As part of this year's new rules on tyre usage and allocation, the tyre choices made by all teams and drivers are made public two weeks prior to the event. The tyre set information released by Pirelli show that championship rivals and Mercedes team-mates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have elected for different quantities of the three compounds. For round three in Shanghai, drivers are allowed to chose thirteen sets of tyres and split these across three compounds; super-soft, soft and medium.
