Perez: I just couldn t stop the car enough...

Force India's Sergio Perez concedes it was his fault he crashed into the back of Carlos Sainz in Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix. The incident happened on the second lap, with both drivers forced to pit as a result, Sainz with a puncture and Perez with front-wing damage. Sainz was later forced to retire as a result, having sustained damage to the floor of his Toro Rosso while limping back to the pits, and while Perez did finish, he was well down in 16th place, one spot behind team-mate, Nico Hulkenberg. “Not the best of weekends for me: I knew I had to get a good start after Saturday's qualifying result and I managed to pull off a great one, making up a lot of ground.
