Opposite emotions for Vandoorne and Button after qualy

Qualifying ahead of his teammate Jenson Button on his Formula 1 debut, McLaren-Honda driver Stoffel Vandoorne was delighted with his performance ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix tomorrow. Replacing injured Fernando Alonso, Vandoorne impressed on during qualifying after his disruptive practice session three because of an oil leak in his garage and added that he felt very comfortable in the car since then. 'I'm quite happy at the moment,' said the 24-year-old Belgian who qualified 12th. 'Since practice I felt very confident in the car, straightway I knew I could match Jenson's lap times.
