This inevitably means, McLaren reserve Stoffel Vandoorne will step into the McLaren for the Bahrain Grand Prix. Motorport.com report that the tests were conducted by the FIA doctors for approximately 90 minutes, and Alonso hasn't addressed the media thereafter.
