GP2's Latifi joins Renault as test driver

– Canadian racer Nicholas Latifi has joined Renault's revived works team as a test driver.Latifi, 20, spent 2015 racing in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series, finishing 11th in the overall championship standings, and will step up to the GP2 Series with DAMS this year.Latifi is to undertake a test programme with Renault in a bid to secure an FIA Super Licence, with a view to taking part in at least one free practice session during the 2016 campaign."Being named test driver for the Renault Sport Formula 1 Team is something very special – an amazing opportunity," Latifi said of his deal with the outfit."There's a lot of history behind the Renault name in Formula 1, so to be...
