Williams confirm di Resta as reserve driver

Paul di Resta is officially back in Formula 1 as Williams have confirmed him as their reserve driver for the 2016 World Championship. The Scot last raced in Formula 1 in 2013 before he lost his Force India seat which prompted a return to DTM with Mercedes. Although it appeared as if his F1 career was over, Williams have surprised many by announcing di Resta's return. Alongside his DTM drive with Mercedes, he will fill the role of the team's official reserve driver, spending extensive time with the team at races to ensure he is fully accustomed to the controls and procedures of the FW38 while also putting in time in the simulator.
