Hamilton thinks Mercedes stronger than in 2015

Mercedes AMG Petronas Reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton reckons Mercedes is in a stronger position compared to last year, following seven days of pre-season testing in Spain. Mercedes racked up the mileage across the opening two days of the first test, prompting the team to split each day between Hamilton and team-mate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton finished the day down in 11th place but amassed a further 63 laps, as Mercedes enjoyed another productive day with the W07 Hybrid. "The team has done a fantastic job with the car and we feel that we're probably in a stronger position than last year, especially after the mileage we've done," he said.
