McLaren – Testing in review

Laps: 257 Miles: 743 Fernando – 1:26.082 / Jenson – 1:26735 McLaren believes it has made strides to improve itself compared to the disastrous 2015 season and enjoyed a solid start in it's first two days of running. With Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso praising the new car and saying its ERS deployment was much better than last year. However, reliability issues struck on the final two days. McLaren managed 257 laps (257km), the second-lowest total of any team (thanks to the problems on the last two day) and came last in Wednesday’s VMax speed classification with 320.4kph.  Even more worrying was the fact that this was without a particularly  large rear wing on the car, in...
