Force India's team – Falling apart from the inside out
Vijay Mallya, the Force India boss and co-owner, will receive $75 million to walk away from a company. United Spirits, the flagship company of the United Breweries Mallya took over from his father, will now pay the 60-year-old $75 million to leave after a bitter fight with Diageo. Diageo, the alcohol multinational, had been fighting with Mallya since taking a stake in United Spirits. But Mallya will now receive $40 million immediately and the rest in instalments.
