Barcelona Day 2: Ferrari fastest as teams do serious mileage
Sebastian Vettel ended his two day stint in the cockpit of the new Ferrari SF16-H by setting the fastest lap on day two of Formula 1 preseason testing, at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, by well over a half a second to the next best Daniel Ricciardo in the Red Bull. Vettel time 1:22.810 was set on the new Ultra-soft Pirelli tyres during a day which saw the Ferrari do 126 laps. Notably they were two seconds up on Nico Rosberg in the Mercedes, although medium Pirelli tyres were bolted on to the W07 and thus the comparison meaningless.
