Ferrari confirms date for 2016 F1 car launch Ferrari will launch their 2016 F1 car on February 19, taking the covers off the as-yet-unnamed car at 1pm GMT. The Italian outfit once again decided for an online launch that will be streamed via the team's official website. The launch event will take place at 1pm GMT on February 19. Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen have both been retained for one more season. The new car will turn its first laps days later as the Italian stable will conduct a day of filming on Sunday, one day before pre-season begins at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The first pre-season test of the year begins on February 22 at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya.
