Renault reserve Ocon joins DTM
Esteban Ocon, the recently revealed Renault reserve, will dovetail his F1 duties with a full time race seat in the DTM. Reigning DTM Champion Pascal Wehrlein was revealed as a Manor-Mercedes driver for 2016, meaning a vacant spot was left in his Championship winning Mercedes team. Esteban Ocon, who was signed up as a Mercedes Junior driver at the 2015 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, will fill that vacant spot in the C63 AMG. The 19 year old Frenchman, who first drove an F1 car in practice for Lotus at the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, tackles the German championship off the back of winning the 2015 GP3 title.
