Vasseur confident over Renault drivers

– Renault's Racing Director, Frédéric Vasseur, has backed Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer to live up to the expectations of racing for a works team during the 2016 season.Magnussen and Palmer, champions in Formula Renault 3.5 and GP2 respectively, will pair up for Renault's comeback year as a factory outfit, after Pastor Maldonado departed.Magnussen made his Formula 1 debut with McLaren in 2014, but dropped back to a reserve role for 2015, as Fernando Alonso returned, and left the squad towards the end of last year."Kevin has a good mix of experience and youth," said Vasseur."He had a strong race season at McLaren two years ago and showed his ability in the junior...
